Hey again, check out the day family photographs. I thought they turned out pretty sweet. They were all done down town Salt Lake area. There are many more to come so stay tuned.
It is already a crazy fall. I have been doing several shoots every day. So I’ll try to put a lot up in the next few weeks.
The girls didn’t want to pose or have there photographer taken with there parents. ButĀ they were quite happy playing/tasting rocks by themselves. Kids will be kids.
I know the color is quite a bit different between these. But they are just for the blog.
Judging by this photo, Sienna is going to be a little painter I think.
It was a week of photographing in Costa Rica. It was amazing. It was so relaxing and the weather was fantastic. Almost too good.
Anyways, I was super excited about a few of these images, so I’ll post them without explaining them for know. I’ll try to add more text to them later.
I got up every morning we were there and rode my scooter that I rented to surrounding areas. I usually spent 2 or 3 hours and photographing and then rode home for a nap!
I also took several rolls of film with my new Diana Camera. It was a blast to shoot with. We’ll have to see if any of the film turned out.
Here are a few images, more coming soon.
- Caribbean Sun-set, with the moon!
- Another Caribbean Sunrise

- Little tree on beach
- Palm Trees on the beach
- Alisa near Punta Uva Costa Rica
- Reading/relaxing at our beach house in Costa Rica
I just did quick scans from a recent shoot I did with the Holga. It makes me really excited about film and plastic cameras again. I LOVE all the light leaks and scratches on the film. I think they worked out perfect.
I just pick up a Diana Fish Eye with a 35mm back and I am super excited. I’m taking it, with my holga and my 5d mark II all to Costa Rica tonight!!! Hopefully I can get one or two good images to add to the fine art gallary on my site.
I think this whole process would make for an amazing fashion catalog. Does anybody wants to work on a project like this? let me know!!
PS. All photographs where taken in the Salt Lake Area.
These are weeks 17-22 of Alisa being prego. We’ve been photographing Alisa every week in the same spot in our house here in Salt Lake. Things have changed a little bit on the angle of the shot but it is amazing to watch Amelia (ourĀ baby) grow.
They were all shot with the Canon 85mm in the 1.6 range except one that was shot with the 90mm TSE at 2.8. And mostly natural light.
So you can look at any of the photographs closer I’ll put them in gallary mode as well.

So the May Publication just came out. I had a ton of photography in it. I did all of these shots in our studio.
I really liked the cookie crumbs and colors in these shots. Design was done by Tiffany Breinholt and Steve Day
Anyways, check them out.
I just finished a shoot with a great consingment shop called Home Again. It is a great place full of original peices.
They have two locations one in Sugarhouse and one in Midvale. The thing that is so great about this place is it has new stuff and old stuff, but they do a good job at filtering the junk out. I buy a lot of props from these guys. Check them sometime.
So I did a sweet photography shoot for Andy Carter at Pangea Speed in Salt Lake City this weekend. Andy has a huge background in the auto industry and when it comes to custom modifications, Andy has mad skills.
Here are a few that I was into.
