We just finished an amazing weekend in Escalante Utah where I got to spent time photographing and canyoneering with my sweet wife and a few friends. Neon Canyon has been on my list of things to do for a few years now and it did not disappoint!
I’m still tired and dirty from the trip, but I do have some amazing photographs. Hopefully I’ll get some time to share them!
I’ve been crazy busy! Too busy to put a ton of time into my site. I’ve been working on many photo projects and feel like it would take forever to blog very many of them.
Here is one that I have really loved. I’ve spent the last few weeks working on a big Utah Cheese project. I really love these artisan cheeses and the passion behind them. The creativity and knowledge is really incredible. My palate is in heaven!
I’m going to try to sneak a few pictures in over the next few weeks. Here is one from last night. This plate came from P712 in Orem Utah. It is amazing! Have you all been here yet?
This is P712’s cheese plate. It feature local cheeses and meats from all over utah. The Olives and Currant Mustardo where paired with these flavors very well.
I have a bunch of photos from this shoot and they are all shot in a editorial way. I’m working in a new way on them that I’ll probably blog about the way I’m shooting these later on. But for know, I’ve got to keep on editing!
It was an amazing weekend in Escalante Utah photographing and exploring with my wife and friends. We had perfect weather and did some amazing canyons. Here are a few photos from the trip.
I guess this canyon is 8″ in spots. Too bad b/c I had to walk sideways for a super long time!
Egypt 3 is full of these water pods. They are super fun to jump into. You just don’t know if they are going to be chest or ankle deep.
This is the amazing hotel we stayed at in Boulder, Utah on the way home. It is so amazingly peaceful!
I love these animated images. I feel like there are so many possibilities when working with them. One of my favorite designers Tiffany and I are going to start trying to do a few durning our lunches once and a while over the next few weeks.
If any of you have any projects you would like us to work on for you in this relm let us know. We’d love to do some of these for you!
I’m going to answer a few questions about the project in advance: This was done with a combonation of photograph and video techniques. I’ve always been in love with the cross processed look, so I usually love to apply the instagram type of looks to my video and photography projects. Tiffany is the model. And yes, I do love my life!
Here are the rest of the photos from the first part of this trip. I’ll be running around a bit more so I’m sure I’ll upload some later.
So all the mountain and climbing photos are from the Blue Mountains in Australia.
This area is amazing! The cliff bands go forever and ever and have a huge variety in features, steepness and grade.
In the post before this one there are some photos of an amazing 600′ 11-. Amazing!! It was overhanging most of the route and covered by some of the most amazing holds I’ve ever climbed on!
The area with all the tree’s was really impressive! I was feeling totally jet lagged that day so I didn’t do a ton, just a handfull of easier routes. It as one a cliff band that went on and on. There had to be over 200 routes. All slightly over hanging and most of them had giant roofs on the top of the climbs.
They forrest around it was just as amazing! Thick and covered in Eucalyptus trees releasing blue vapors. I’m pretty sure you can taste it in the air.
I’ll be traveling a few more days and then its off to an event to photograph and shoot video!
Thanks for checking in!
I’m in Australia for a few weeks traveling and working (photography and video). My feet are killing from walking all over Sydney so I thought I would take a minute to dump some photos on here. These are from the Blue Mountains in Australia.
I love this rock! It has the coolest features I’ve ever climbed on!
Many of you have already seen the photos from our Bridals and Groomals from Harry and Sarah’s wedding day. I loved them! In Utah, we don’t usually get such amazing locations for their actual wedding but these guys did. I’m loving all their wedding photos! Good luck editing these guys!
I have so many photographs to put up, but for now I’ll just start with a few that I’m loving!
We photographed most of their images in Salt Lake City, Utah Area. But these where take just outside of Boise in a city called Eagle. It made for a great wedding venue.
For those of you who don’t know I work on a monthly magazine called Stampin Success.
I was excited because this last month my wife fit our cover styling and stratagem perfectly.
Check out her beautiful self below.
I have SO much photography work that I don’t have up anywhere that I’m going to try to keep putting up. I usually can’t publish any of the images until long after the publications have been out. And we work several months ahead so sometime after they come out it don’t feel very new to me.
Check back from more images from our editor/training magazine in the near future.
This image was done in our studio right here in the Salt Lake City, Utah area.
I’m going to be putting up more of my work on the blog. I’ve got so much of it that is not on here.
I did this one a few years back. It was for an editorial piece that was done about organizing home offices. It was a great shoot and I love this image of our Model (Wendy).
The shot was done in Salt Lake City area in our Model’s Home office.
