I’m putting them on here in order of age. So some of my equipment and skill have improved over the years. Take a look and let me know what you think!

I recently did a combined video and photo shoot for a commercial for a senior living center. The footage will air on a local TV station and the images will publish in their medias. Mostly on their web site and print collaterals.
It was super interesting. I had to light one room to work with multiple angles so that I could run though the shoot in only a few hours. Also I had to rig up my video lights do help with the video I was running in between all the shots. Because we all need video and photos for all of our content right?!
So not all the lighting was totally perfect but it worked for what we had to do.

So I’m currently a photography manager of a photography department at Stampin Up. It’s a great job and I work with amazing people. Because we are an in-house photography department I’ve noticed we are quite a bit different than just a bunch of photographers. We are much more like visual strategists. Because we are constantly evaluating our images and visuals, proactively try to make them more affective. More affective either in communication or in company revenue.
Yes that is right. Better photographs make more money. Therefor they make companies more successful.

So I’ve been fortunate enough the past few weeks to go do a few things by myself in amazing places. Yesterday I got to go for a quick run up Buckskin Gulch and Wire Pass in the South East corner of Utah.
I snapped a few shots on self timer mode. I loved the way this one turned out!
